Unified Resource Scheduling System

Centered on the core concept of “material pull,” the Unified Resource Scheduling System holistically manages material interactions across various storage units. It serves as a comprehensive logistics management system that oversees the entire material lifecycle—from inbound receiving, in-warehouse management, and outbound operations, to material pull, transfer, and final assembly.

The system organically integrates key logistics nodes, including suppliers, third-party logistics (3PL), distribution centers (DCs), in-plant supermarkets, line-side buffers, AGVs, and dedicated transfer vehicles. By leveraging technologies such as barcoding, PDAs, vehicle-mounted terminals, and electronic picking systems (e-picking), it directs and standardizes all warehousing and logistics operations. The automatic capture and recording of operational data enhance accuracy and speed, boost warehouse management efficiency, transparency, and data integrity, while significantly reducing management costs. Furthermore, the system is equipped with a comprehensive suite of material pull strategies—including JIT, JIS, PPS, SPS, and Andon—to maximize material pull efficiency.

Driven by an information flow that dictates the physical flow, with the physical flow in turn feeding back execution progress to the information flow, the system achieves the principle of “system records updating with transaction orders, and physical tags traveling with the materials.” This truly guarantees the accuracy of inventory and inbound/outbound data. By seamlessly unifying operations within a single warehouse, across multiple warehouses, and between warehouses and production workshops, it establishes a robust lean logistics execution system for the enterprise.
