Pioneering the “IFMS” (Intelligent Flexible Manufacturing System) to Lead a New Concept in Smart Manufacturing

This brand-new flexible production line concept abandons the traditional series connection methods using standard robots and gantry systems. Instead, it uses hybrid AMRs as the core units, integrated with multi-functional quick-change “dexterous hands” at the end effectors and 3D visual profile guidance. Applied within intelligent machining lines, it achieves automatic loading/unloading of specific products, tool changing, and full life-cycle management. Powered by Kunda’s independently developed ROS2 vehicle-manipulator integrated control platform, the “IFMS” flexible production line offers superior adaptability, flexibility, and intelligence compared to traditional lines. It imposes no special requirements on the layout or type of production equipment. Once established, its expansion and maintenance costs are significantly lower than those of traditional lines.
