This system comprises an omni-directional mobile platform, high-precision robot, drilling end effector, and auxiliary components, performing automated drilling and countersinking operations in aircraft panel splice zones and skin-to-spar/rib joint areas. Capabilities include automated positioning, normal alignment, reference hole alignment, automatic tool changing, pressure foot force feedback, accuracy compensation, broken tool detection, bore diameter inspection, vacuum chip extraction, and video surveillance.
