Guanglian Heavy-Duty AGV Project Empowers Client to be Awarded “Heilongjiang Provincial Digital (Intelligent) Demonstration Workshop”

Recently, the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of 2024 Heilongjiang Provincial Digital (Intelligent) Demonstration Workshops. The High-Voltage Motor Digital Assembly Workshop of HARBIN Electric Corporation Jiamusi Electric Machine Co., Ltd. (Jiamusi Electric) was successfully awarded this title. Equipped with intelligent equipment such as fully automatic stator-rotor assembly machines, assembly and transportation platforms, and AGVs, the workshop utilizes a MES (Manufacturing Execution System) for the intelligent control of the entire high-voltage motor assembly process. This has achieved a three-fold improvement in motor assembly capacity, efficiency, and quality, marking a milestone for Jiamusi Electric in promoting digital transformation and achieving high-quality development.
As a traditional pillar industry of the national economy, the industrial sector is a crucial part of high-quality industrial development and an important frontier for developing “new quality productive forces.” It is an inevitable trend to lead the construction of a modern industrial system through scientific and technological innovation, use smart manufacturing as a key leverage point, vigorously promote industrial digital transformation and high-quality development, and accelerate the emergence of industry-specific “new quality productive forces.”
Dalian Kunda had the honor of participating in this selection process. The customized 20-ton intelligent heavy-duty AGV platform provided to Jiamusi Electric’s high-voltage motor digital assembly workshop serves as a vital component of its digital assembly system, playing a key role in the logistics operations between the workshop’s production lines and workstations.
In the Jiamusi high-voltage motor digital assembly workshop project, the Unified Resource Scheduling System, independently developed by the Software Department, integrated various types and quantities of vehicles, including 2 heavy-duty AGVs, 2 intelligent stacking forklifts, 3 lifting AGVs, and 1 RGV. Simultaneously, it achieved automated docking with over 200 docking platforms within the plant. This realized functions including the dispatching of all vehicle types within the factory, automatic docking with different platforms, automatic task issuance and reporting, and cross-operation of different vehicles in the same area. These capabilities not only met the customer’s needs but also exceeded expectations in terms of performance and user experience. Since the workshop was put into operation, the overall capacity for high-voltage motors has increased by 56%, production efficiency has risen by over 35%, and personnel requirements have been reduced by more than 20%, demonstrating highly significant results in digital transformation.
Looking ahead, the research and development of compound AGV core controllers will be a top priority.
